This year’s edition of JDD will take place in Hilton DoubleTree Hotel (Kraków, Dąbska 5). Below you can find information on how to get to Kraków, find the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel, and where you can stay during the conference. It's easier than you think!
Kraków can be reached by plane through the Kraków Airport. The airport handles several carriers, including Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France, LOT, and low-cost carriers such as Ryanair or easyJet.
When choosing a flight, please take into account that you can get to Kraków either choosing Kraków Airport as a destination, or Katowice Airport (80km from Kraków), or Warsaw Chopin Airport (300 km from Kraków). If you decide to land in Katowice, there are buses that will get you to Kraków and back. If you land in Warsaw, you can go to Kraków by train.
BUS: Public bus stops are located near the passenger terminal. You can take a bus going to the Main Train Station in the city centre (stop: Dworzec Główny Wschód): 208, 292 and 902 (night line). The trip to the Main Train Station takes app. 35 minutes. A ticket can be purchased from the ticket machine at the bus stop for 4 PLN (less than €1).
TAXI: There are always taxis waiting in front of the passenger terminal. The average fee for a ride to the city centre is 70 PLN (around €16).
TRAIN: The Kraków Airport train station is located near the passenger terminal, at the rear of the car park. The ticket costs 8 PLN (less than €2), it takes about 17 minutes to get to the Kraków Main Train Station.

You can travel to Kraków by train from major Polish cities such as Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, and most cities in Europe. There is a direct connection with Berlin, Vienna, Prague, etc.

After a successful registration you can request an invitation letter, which will help you aquire visa easier. We can fax it to you or to an appropriate embassy, which in most cases speeds up the process and often leads to obtaining a free of charge visa. If you’d like to receive an invitation letter, please mark it in the application form on the website in the “Remarks” section. After you register, send an e-mail to Zuzanna Rec with additional info about the visa issuing process in your country, including a description of the invitation letter you need, embassy’s data (phone and fax numbers, location, etc). We will not charge you for the invitation letter.

In most pubs, restaurants and shops you can pay using your credit/debit card. There are also many currency exchanges in the Main Square area.
